Hendrik de Jong (1896 – 1982)

Dear Kees and Hittie

I am now 60 and so half and half retired. I still play the organ in an Anglican church, but other than that, I take care of the household, as Stiny still works full-time as a district nurse. My children said: Dad must still have something to do, and gave me a computer for my 60th birthday. You didn’t know that for quite a few years in the past, I wrote a Dutch page in a Dutch-Canadian weekly. Now, I have edited those stories a bit and they are now being published in book form. I take care of the printing, binding and so on myself. Nice work, you can decorate a lot with a computer these days.
