Eelke Van Doorn has been walking since 1985 in a pair of Brazilian shoes he bought in a Canadian shoe shop while visiting his children… This was at the suggestion of daughter Ietje, who wanted her father to look neat. They are the only shoes that have had Eelke’s appreciation ever since, as the creamy upper leather and sagging rubber soles have molded wonderfully to his feet. In a word, they are comfortable, and that, according to Eelke, is the whole egg-eating thing.
