~ Heave-Ho

snow on ground
snow on trees
but darkness deep
in my being
darkness, devil darkness
thoughts heavy
heave-ho
heave-ho
heave ho
like women pulling barges
plodding on drenched grass
hiding faces in jute capes.

Steppe of subconscience.

Step, step, step
in soft snow
escape, you hidden thoughts
stop plodding ankle deep
on mired paths
along foreign rivers.

I wanna be happy
i wanna be happy
like a small bird
tripping tirelessly
triple toes
on fleeces of snow-flakes
picking soft seeds
thrown out by caring people

O, yes, o yes
whiter than snow
let me be
whiter than snow.
